SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) Farooq President Abdullah on Thursday declared anger for the “burner comment and genocidal threat” made against Muslims and other minority groups and demanded firm action against those who “spew to poison in the conclusion of hatred speeches” throughout the country .
He voiced concern for “inflammatory speech and provocative” to Muslims at an event in Haridwar between 17 and December 19, 2021, and the other “conclusion of hatred speeches” from the right-wing group and said this speech was “sad”.
“Repeatedly from nutritional and genocidal calls in this country are very disturbing,” he said.
Preparing the Government for allegedly closing his eyes to hatred speech, President NC said “criminal hush” among the government raises questions that request to be answered.
Abdullah said India as a signatory to the Prevention Convention and Punishment for Genocide Crimes (CPPCG) based on Article 3 C, which migrifies the direct and public incitement to conduct genocide, must act strongly against those who call for Muslim genocide.

Abdullah said he would be grateful if the action was taken against those who had violated the genocide convention.
