Farrukh Jaffer’s actor from ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ Fame passed

Lucknow: ‘Begum’ Amitabh Bacchan, Rekha’s mother in Umrao Jaan, ‘What Badi’ in Secret Superstar – Veteran actress Farrukh Jaffer died on Friday here at the age of 88 years.
Jaffer is not good for some and exhales at a private hospital.
Most famous because of his energy, enthusiasm and full of life and the recent depiction of Amitabh Bachhan’s wife ‘Fatima Begum’ in the film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ directed by Shoejoit Sircar, Octogenarian began his acting career in 1981 with Muzaffar Ali ‘Umrao Jaan ” , where he played the biological mother of Rekha.
After Umrao Jaan, he went to win his hearts with his different role in ‘Swades’, ‘Peepli Live’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Sultan’, he recently ‘Mehrunisa’.
The list continues.
In March this year, he also won the filmfare award for the best supporting actress for his role in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’.
Immediately after news of his death spread, tribute flowing from his colleagues, friends, family members, shared stars, including Actor Ayushman Khurana and Juhi Chaturvedi’s scenario writer, who wrote the film circar.
Given the time he spent with Jaffer in the set of Umrao Jaan and other short films, Director of Muzaff Ar Ali said that he would always stay as an important figure and part of his creative work.
“He is not just a character in my film.
He is part of our production team as well in the film, diksi and his order for Urdu is so strong that we learn from him every day.
He is very humorous that the set always feels alive when he is around.
Umrao Jaan’s last scene when he met Rekha was very memorable for me, “Ali added.
Jaffer was born in 1933 in Jaunpur and moved to Lucknow after marrying a journalist and Freedom Fighter BC Jaffer at the age of 14.
He graduated from Lucknow University.
Before becoming a household name with his acting, he landed a job at All India Radio (Water) as a radio announcer.
He then moved to Delhi when her husband was posted there and joined Urdu’s water service, while also attending acting classes by Ebrahim Alkazi from the National School of Drama.
But, immediately left his job and moved back to Jaunpur where he spent 15 years as ‘Pradhan’.
Jaffer is also socially active and is part of several campaigns and protests.
He continued to work and get a role until the end of his days.
“He lived his life completely, especially in the last years of his life.
He used to go to the University wearing ‘Gharara’ on a bicycle.
I remember he took us together with the Theater Game Ali Baba where he was given the role of ‘Marjana’.
In the green room, While getting ready, he continued to say the dialogue of Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and sang his favorite song ‘Hawa Me Udhta Jaye Dupattaa’.
When he was in the ICU, the production of Aamir Khan approached us again to talk to him about the role, but the story only arrived here , “Shaheen Ahmad’s youngest daughter said.
Jaffer survived two daughters – writer Mehru Jaffer and Shaheen.
