Mumbai: While the country reported the surge in Covid’s death on Tuesday, Mumbai reported five deaths on Tuesday, the lowest after four deaths on March 16.
The day after reporting a low case record, the state added 6,258 cases, the highest and 254 cases, the highest in 38 days since June 19 (257).
With this, the total case rose to 62.7 lakh and the fatality touched 1.31,859.
While the counting of daily deaths in Mumbai has floated around 10 for more than a month now, the case has floated between 300 and 500 on almost every day.
The city added 344 cases, taking total total loads to 7.34 lakh and the death toll became 15,850 crores.
“Low prospective levels, low cases and no reason for current concern in Mumbai,” said Supplementary City Commissioner Suresh Kakani.
The BMC engine is focused on reducing the third wave impact, which experts can occur during the festival season in September-October.

With cases that stabilize and even decrease in many parts of the country, the government is expected to issue revised orders in raising certain restrictions in the district with a low positive level and high vaccination average.
The state is expected to extend the timing shop, meal time for restaurants and even allow local train trips for more people.
