NEW DELHI: Attorney General K K Venugopal has given approval of the initiation of the insulting process of the controversial religious leader Yati Narsinghand to make comment ahead of the Supreme Court.
As the Agreement from the Lawyers General is needed to apply for an insult by a personal individual, an activist based on Mumbai Shachi Nelli has been brought to the notice of Venugopal suspected of condescending comments recently made by Narsinghand and asking permission to start a criminal insulting process.
Responding to his request, Venugopal gave his approval that the statement certainly numbered the insults of the court.
“I’ve been through your letter and watched a video statement made by Yati Narsinghanand who was explained to me.
I found that the statement made by Yati Narsinghanand was a direct effort to reduce SC authorities in the minds of the general public.
This will amounts to insults to the Supreme Court of India, “Venugopal said.
“I give approval to begin the process for the Criminal Insiation of the Supreme Court..” He said.
