Father, died daughter in TN when the car fell to 70ft well

Dharmapuri: A 42-year-old man and his 13-year-old daughter sank after the sports vehicle (SUV) they traveled in the emergence of 70-ft well near Karimangalam on Tuesday.
Fire and rescue service personnel have taken their bodies after six hours of struggle.
Karimanglam police said the incident occurred when Linga, from Linga Nagar in Bengaluru, the wife of Umalaxhmi and Putri Sushmitha, returned home after living with her sister at her house in Salem.
Veeran, who is a manager with a personal garment unit in Bengaluru, is in the steering wheel.
C Kalaichelvan, police supervisor, Dharmapuri, said, “When crossing the path in the Salem-Bengaluru National Highway, Veeran lost control of the SUV, who left the road and plunged close.” While Umalaksi managed to get out of the vehicle through the back door, which was opened when the SUV fell into the well, the officer said.
Veeran and Sushmitha are trapped in the vehicle.
The people who witnessed the incident warned the police, who reached a place along with fire service personnel and rescue from Dharmapuri and Palacode fire extinguisher.
The team saved Umalakshi, who floated in the water.
“He was treated at a government hospital in Karimangalam and his condition was stable,” SP said.
Fire and rescue service personnel took Veeran and Sushmitha around 8:45 a.m.
on Tuesday and sent them to the government hospital for postmortem.
