New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested the duo of the father-child who used to live in luxury hotels and escape without paying bills.
Cases of cheating and criminal violations of trust were registered at the IGI Airport Police Station against the people arrested –Navdeep Singh (son) and Kamaljit Singh (father), Punjab residents.
According to Delhi police, a complaint was received at the IGI Airport Police Station from Aloft Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi who accused the Navdeep Singh checking in the hotel on August 11, 2021 and then his parents also checked in the same room and they stayed in the same room.
And they stayed at the hotel until September 6, 2021.
All family members took advantage of all hotel facilities during their stay at Aloft Hotel.
Their total bills to stay, eat and other services are connected to RS 3,41,054 but they only pay Rs 60,000 through bank transfers.
The family escaped from the hotel without paying the total balance of Rs 2,81,054.
Following complaints, investigations were taken by Delhi police.
Information, Navdeep Singh and his father Kamaljit Singh was arrested from a hotel in Mahipalpur, Delhi on January 19.
During a further investigation course, it was revealed that Navdeep Singh was a habitual actor and was also involved in other cases registered in Barnala.
The police station in Punjab, where he enacted himself as Canadian immigration officers and tried to extort money from a family in Punjab.
Police Delhi said Navdeep Singh and his father used to live in a five-star hotel by representing themselves as entrepreneurs and provided hotel facilities and after some time they used to escape without paying bills.
Furthermore, the fake letter released from the Ministry of Finance also recovered from Navdeep Singh who used it which he used to induce hotel staff.
Police said Singh also worked as an agent and used to deceive people by making promises of false settlements abroad.
He used to live in a five-star hotel to deceive innocent clients by showing them their expensive lifestyle.
