FBD: Radha Soami in Forest Land, Russian Service Claims

“Every construction or illegal encroachment in Aravali’s forest land must go.” Bench asked Senior Advocate Arun Bhardwaj, appearing for MCF, to check whether Radha Soami premis is located on the forest land.
“If in forest land, it must also be destroyed,” he said.
MCF told SC that all forest land in Khori Village would get rid of illegal encroachment and construction on August 23.
Also said that he had sent a draft rehabilitation policy to the Haryana government for his approval.
Previous policies allowed the rehabilitation of the population of Khori Village, which could establish that they continued to reside in place before 2003, the cutoff date was entitled to alternative accommodation from the state government.
Parikh complained that the design of a new policy would not help those who were evicted from Khori Village when the authorities had proposed criteria for electricity bills and other documents as proof of residence and the right to alternative accommodation.
New policy, if approved, will still be praised 90% of the people who were evicted from rehabilitation, he said.
Bhardwaj said that the majority of the population in Khori Village was in rented accommodation and has penetrated the forest soil in the past decade or more.
SC asks Parikh to wait for finalization of policies and notifications to apply.
“After notified, you can challenge him for any reason,” Bench said.
Parach said that the state government must adopt a human approach in this regard.
SC asked the Haryana government to make a final decision on rehabilitation policies before August 25, the next hearing date in this matter.
