Health officials said more students from nursing colleges tended to test the positive virus, while those infected were transferred to the Covid Care Center on the campus campus itself.

Higher education is also ordered to allow students from Kerala only if they have a negative RT-PCR certificate.
The GS Sameran District Collector said all colleges and institutions were asked to make students come from Kerala in quarantine for 10 days, before allowing them to get along with other students.
“We have asked them strictly ensuring the negative certificate of RT-PCR and student vaccination status.” A health official said the compulsory quarantine of students on their arrival could prevent covid clusters in nursing college.
P Aruna, Deputy Director of Health Services, said four breastfeeding students were among a series of first positive cases, having a negative RT-PCR certificate.
“It takes three to 14 days for Covid symptoms to manifest after being infected.
Therefore, quarantine mandatory for several days is the only way to prevent the formation of the cluster.
We have instructed educational institutions to comply with norms,” ​​he said.
Some universities have asked students from other states to attend online classes from home for now, given the high number of cases there.
