Ranchi: The district government in Jamtara has decided to change buildings into clubs and recreation centers exclusively for senior citizens to give them the opportunity to interact socially and relax.
Speaking with Toi on Saturday, Deputy Commissioner Jamtara Faiz Aq Ahmed Mumtaz said, “We have planned one club in six blocks and they are expected to be operational in mid-December.” He added, “The idea of ​​the exclusive cum-recreation club center for senior citizens surprised us after finding examples of depression between them because of various problems.
