Dolton: Two police officers Chicago suburbs were seriously injured and a woman died after one of the officers shot her in early Tuesday when she left a restaurant after a disturbance and crashed into the nearest business, police said.
The police in the Dolton were called to the restaurant around 1am.
By employees who said the female driver with a gun was angry that the Drive-Thru restaurant was closed, Sean Howard’s village spokesman told WLS-TV.

Passengers obeyed, but the woman began to drive away while an officer reached in the car to get a key, Howard said.
Other officers fired their weapons three times, striking the woman, whose car hit her while other officers were dragged by the vehicle, which crashed into the nearest bicycle shop, said Howard.
The woman died at the scene and the two officers were hospitalized in a serious condition.
Howard said the condition of one of the officers had improved.
