Kalyan: Shiv Sena has set 300 free buses from Kalyan-Dombivli, Kalyan Taluka, and Diva Region to Conkan for the upcoming Ganesh Festival.
The bus will go to Konkan on September 8.
Thousands of people from the Konkan area who live in these areas return to their original villages in Conkan to celebrate the festival every year.
However, because the train is limited, people from these places face the inconvenience to go to their origin places.
Seeing public demand, Minister of Guusipal District Thane Eknath Shinde and Kalyan Lok Sabha MP Dr.
Keca Shinde has set 300 MSRTC buses.
Shrikant Shinde told Tii, “The KONKAN region has suffered a large loss due to flooding and Covid-19.
We have arranged this free bus to give them relief so they can celebrate their festivals with their relatives.” Shinde further added, “All buses will be disanitized before the trip and all passengers will be asked to wear a mask during the trip and follow Covid-19 norms.
