Varanasi: Political heat in 10 districts, consisting of 61 Uttar Pradesh assembly constituency has begun to increase with the announcement of the Selection Schedule for the Election of the State Assembly.
Fever polls will grip the region during the old period of voting scheduled for the sixth phase and seventh elections.
In the latest assembly selection, BJP has won 34 seats and advertising alliance partners, while SP has won 12 and BSP only seven.

In the Ballia district, BJP represents five seats – Belthara Road (SC), Sikanderpur, Phephana, Ballia Nagar and Bairia, while BSP represents Rasara and SP representing the Bansdih seat.
