Fight narcotics without connecting the community, said Pinarayi

ThiruvananThapuram: When the debate about ‘Narcotics Jihad’ continues, Chairman of the Pinarayi Minister Vijayan said here on Wednesday that what matters is to ensure community unity towards narcotics without connecting certain community symbols.
“Narcotics Mafia is a widespread network throughout the world related to drugs.
They are even stronger than some of the government.
Such mafia must be seen in that sense and the symbol of religion should not attach to it.
What I said before is about attaching religious symbols Like that.
Pala Bishop’s explanation has come who has clarified that statements about narcotics jihad are not intended to create religious tensions and their intentions just to warn their community, “he said.
He said that what must be ascertained is that such statements did not come out of control.
He further said that other claims such as efforts to lure young people through unfounded black magic and it was something that was believed in the past.
This is a scientific age and people have high scientific awareness.
Without giving BJP’s name who came to open support for the statement of Pala Bishop, he said that there were some strengths that tried to use this in the wrong way with the communal mindset and such people would try to take advantage of this problem.
He said that the UDF opposition suggestion to bring all these communities to a general table was a welcome suggestion, but did not need to bring them to discuss related to the campaign.
He said that the police would take firm action against those who pamper themselves in a hatred campaign.
The minister’s chairman said that the government did not intend to register any case against the bishop in connection with his statement.
