Fio has launched a portable M17 desktop class music player in India.
Players come to MRP 1,79,990 and are now available to be purchased at www.fiio.co.in and the leading online and retail store.
The left and right audio channels each contain DAC class desktop, 8-channel ES9038PRO DAC.
This means that each audio channel has 8 parallel outputs concluded together for superior resolution and minimal distortion for very pure audio reproduction.
Fio and Thx together develop exclusive THX AAA-788 +, an enhanced version of the original op-amp.
Compared to the original, output power increases by 225% to 3000MW per channel with lower output impedance, claims the company.
The M17 rate displays a 3.5mm output: headphone out / line out; 6.3mm output: headphones come out; 2.5mm output: balanced headphones; 4.4mm output: headphones balanced out / balanced; RCA Coaxial Port: coaxial input and output; USB 3.0 port: Supports USB hosts and device mode, can be used to transfer high-speed data and fast charging; USB 2.0 port: supports USB host mode, allowing external DAC or connected hard drive storage.
Fiove said that effective heat disposal was a big focus when designing DAP M17.
“H” Type of heat dissipation and VC liquid cooling technology works with a frame aluminum alloy unibody M17 to repel heat from the device.
There is a cooling fan holder too.
Portable Players M17 contains two power supply – battery power supply and power supply powered by external DC power.
The battery power supply allows you to use M17 in a situation where there is no access to an outlet.
Under the DC power supply, the voltage on analog circuits increased by 35% to 11.5V compared to the battery’s power supply; And the battery remains healthy because it is not used in this mode.
Under battery power, there are 4 levels of gain: low mode, medium, high, and headphones.
When under DC mode, the upgraded gain over-ear headphone mode is not locked.
In balanced output, gain can reach 16DB – allow M17 to easily push most of the headphones.
Other features include Android 10 OS open to install 3rd party applications; Bluetooth 5.0 with support for APTX Adaptive, support up to DSD512 and 32bit / 768KHz, and support for MQA 8x takes place.
