New Delhi: Search for a Law student Bennett University to free the streets of Jaipur from the threat of plastic waste drill when Rajasthan High Court direct the center and the Rajasthan government to ensure strict implementation of plastic waste management rules, 2016 and the rules of the state government about plastic waste issued in 2010.
The court order came on December 1 on litigation of the public interest submitted by beginner lawyers Priyansha Gupta, a third year BA (LLB) student from Bennett University.
In its decision, the court asked why, regardless of notice to ban the manufacture and use of plastic bags in this country, it was still used in the state.

Priyansha, in his petition, argues that “Rajasthan was declared a plastic free zone in 2010.
However, even after 11 years, plastic formed a large portion of the country’s trash dump.
In 2016, the center under the rules of plastic waste management, has banned Single use plastic bag.
However, Rajasthan still has not applied a prohibition properly.

Before applying for his request, Priyansha traveled around the city of Jaipur who documents the extent of the problem.
He took photos of plastic bags scattered on the streets, strangled water channels and messy garbage.
He also examined reports submitted by the Rajasthan government regarding the implementation of central plastic waste management rules, 2016.
Finally, it was ready with all documents, Priyansha submitted his request on October 5 at Rajasthan High Court.
He also chose to refute his own case.
“I went to court for the first time and becoming an applicant directly, I was very nervous, so-so, so when he argued I could only hear my heartbeat and nothing else,” Priyansha said.
He has a reason to be nervous.
Developing a case for the government is an additional lawyer General Rastogi who represents the Indian Union, along with Mr.
Anil Mehta, Aag.
The argument lasts for 20 to 25 minutes.
Priyansha’s efforts to make fruit as two judges delivered an assessment in supporting it on December 1.
In its order, the court ordered the State of Rajasthan to comply with notifications and enforce a complete ban on a plastic bag.
The fifth generation lawyer from his family, Priyansha now wants to take some other public interest problems.
This includes the use of green cigarettes by young people who don’t even have warnings on them, and service fees are collected by restaurants on customers.
