Fill in consumer panel vacancies in eight weeks: Supreme Court to the Government

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday directing the center and countries to fill all vacancies in the Consumer Dispute Recovery Commission within eight weeks and attract the government to defeat the objectives of having consumer protection laws by dealing with citizens to deal with citizens complaints.
Judge Sanjay Kiswa Kulul and Hrishikesh Roy said that if the state government failed to obey the direction and all posts were not filled within two months, the secretary of the state of the state would be called to provide an explanation for non-compliance.

It is not acceptable.
We disturb you not to put your home in sequence,” said the bench after noting that a large number of empty posts in the state and district consumer forum.
There are more than 650 jobs in the state and district consumer panels and three posts lie empty in the National Consumer Forum.
