Hyderabad: A short film director, who allegedly disturbed the Telugu playing singer by abusing his picture and his name while uploading content on the web, was arrested from Bengaluru by Rachakonda police on Saturday.
Police Rachakonda said that accusing the age of 34 years, a resident of Bengaluru, was arrested under Section 354 D, 509, 417, 419 IPC in addition to the Information Technology Act.
The victim’s father, in his complaint, told the police that unidentified people had used a photo of his daughter, a singer, and his name for his home house without his consent.
“My daughter, a famous playback singer in the Telugu film industry, noticed that some unknown people have created a film production company on their name, showing her photo as a logo and further creating a social media account on its name using her photo, ” Singer’s said father.
According to him, His daughter suspected of a man who created his discomfort allegedly forced him to give approval to use his photo for his business.
The accusation of the first time saw the victim in an interview.
He joined his fans on Facebook and began to liked and commented on each post on the page.
Then, He made YouTube channels in his name by storing the photo as a logo.
