NoIDAC / Ghaziabad: Comparative data analysis sourced from the Uttar Pradesh (UPPCB) pollution control agency at the average pollution level around Diwali for the past four years shows that air is the cleanest a month from the celebration in 2019.

According to data, this year, the average Noida Aqi a month before Diwali is in 200 (medium) and for Ghaziabad, 230 (poor).
In 2020, the average Aqi Noida (between October 15 and November 13) a month before Diwali 343 (very poor).
In Ghaziabad, for the same period, it was 354.
