Ranchi: After receiving the unrelenting rainfall for the past 48 hours, the sky finally became clear on Monday forenoon in most countries.
Under the influence of cloud cover and shower, the temperature of the day drops below normal, almost along Jharkhand.
Jamshedpur records 44mm high rainfall, and then, the temperature of the day dropped to 22 degrees Celsius, 7.4 notches below normal.
Ranchi, who recorded 16.6mm rainfall, witnessed a minimum temperature of 16.4 degrees Celsius.
That’s 2.7 notch above normal.
The temperature of the day in Ranchi also fell 6.6 notches from usually to record 20 degrees Celsius.
The decline in the temperature of the day is noticed in Daltonganj, Bokaro Thermal, Chaibasa, Deoghar, Ramgarh and night temperatures in all this place remain above some notches.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), in the bulletin was released on Monday, predicted that the night temperature would drop 2-3 degrees throughout the state.
“Once the cloud cover disappears, there will be a decrease seen at night temperatures that carry the cold winter,” said Director of Ranchi IMD, Abhishek Anand.
48 hours of rainfall in the state, under the influence of a low pressure area originating from Bay Bengal and hit the mainland from Tamil Nadu beach, has significantly added to seasonal rainfall.
