Gurgaon: The state government has decided to launch a financial assistance program for all children who lost their parents to the second wave of Covid-19.
Launched by Minister of Manohar Minister Lal Khattar, those under the age of 18 who have orphans because Covid will be given a monthly moratorium on Rs 2,500 under the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana.
In addition, the annual amount of RS 12,000 will be given to families who care for children.
Help will continue until the child reaches the age of 18.
Children who meet the requirements or caregivers they can register at www.wedhry.gov.in or www.cdhry.gov.in.
“The government’s decision is a tremendous step in the public interest.
We asked people to spread the news and advance to take advantage of the benefits of this scheme.
The education and welfare of all these children is our responsibility,” said Deputy Commissioner Gurgaon Dr.
Yash Garg.
Sunaina Khatri, a program official in the Department of Development District of Women and Children, said applicants can also visit the office of women and the development of children or district child protection offices in Sitan Vikas and submit the details.
