Jaipur: BJP leader approached the court on Tuesday to register FIR to former Congress President Rahul Gandhi because he revealed the identity of rape victims by clicking on photographs with the mother of social media in Delhi.
The court will hear this problem on Wednesday.
The applicant said Gandhi took a photo with the mother of a 9-year-old rape victim in Delhi recently and violated the confidentiality of the identity of the victim.
He also looked for action on Indian Twitter communication Pvt Ltd, who brought the photo.
BJP State Secretary Jitendra Gothwal in his petition said he had approached Ashok Nagar police to submit FIR against the Congress leader on August 5 but the police refused to do so.
Now he has no other choice than approaching the court.
The petition has been submitted based on Section 190 (1) CRPC, 228 (a) IPC (identity disclosure), section 23 ACT Pocso (no one will make any reports or present comments on each child of all forms of media or studio.

The applicant said Rahul Gandhi, to obtain political advantage, post photos with the victim’s mother on Twitter on August 4 and thus violated non-disclosure of identity provisions.
He said under Pocso Act, media or social media could not publish anything that revealed the identity of rape victims.
The applicant looked for directions from the court below Section 156 (3), directed the Ashok Nagar police, because the BJP office was under his jurisdiction, to submit FIR.
