Ahmedabad: Cybercrime police registered the case against unknown people who posted obscene messages on social media.
Complaints have been registered by a 19-year-old population from Nava Naroda.
The complainant stated that he did the first year of the Bachelors of computer applications and had social media accounts over the past four years.
He stated that on November 2, he received a friend’s request from ID ‘Crea.tive5862’, which he was accepted.
The complainant stated that after he received the request, he began to receive insulting messages.
He stated that he then blocked the account and then got a friend request from another profile, which bear the picture, the name and message stating that he would be available for pleasure.
He stated that he reported ID and got it blocked.
He then told his parents of the incident that the unknown person used his picture.
He told the Cybercrime police on November 17, after complaints were submitted on Saturday.
