New Delhi: A pine has been registered against an unknown person under a violation of the law (prevention) acting after the body of the Kashmir separatist leader who died Syed Ali Shah Geelani was seen wrapped in the Pakistani flag before burial.
Geelani, who had long led a hard-line faction from Hurriyat Conference, died on Wednesday at Hyderpora Residence in Srinagar.
Restrictions were imposed on mass meetings and the movement of people following Geelani’s death.
Cellular internet and broadband services are also jerks to avoid unwanted events.
They were restored after 10pm on Friday because the valley remained peaceful, but the sidewalk was imposed on Saturday morning.
The video of the Geelani body wrapped in the Pakistani flag appeared after recovery of internet services, the report said.
