Chandrapur: The paper and discarded documents stored in the Ghugus City Council warehouse were destroyed after the fire broke on Tuesday night.
The fire was noticed in the morning and the fire brigade officer from the nearest ACC Limited was called to extinguish the fire.
According to sources, Ghugus Gram Panchayat increased with the status of the city council in December 2020.
Gound Tehsildar Nilesh was appointed as an administrator and the work of the city council had begun to a certain extent.
A few days ago, one Arshia Sheikh took over the accusation as head of the city council officer.
Some parts of the tile roof building are being used as a warehouse where used documents and waste from Gram Panchayat and the new city council are saved.
This building caught fire at night.
City officials rushed to the place and called fire.
The fire contained within half an hour, said the source, added that no important documents stored in failed failed.
The source said the suspected fire had begun to follow a short relationship.
Ghugus police are investigating this case.
