According to the police, around 12:15 thick smoke was seen out of Charity Limited, a chemical unit located in GIDC, Ankleshwar.
Staff from the fire brigade and the police rushed to the place after being told.
Blaze was watered for about an hour.
Three fire vehicles were pressed into action for fire department operations.
The main investigation revealed that the plastic tank (FRP) which was reinforced by fiber and chimney was installed in the factory when the fire broke.
Because it is a construction plant under no victims reported.
