Ludhiana: A fire broke out at a sewing machine factory in Moti Nagar on Friday night.
The fire swallowed the first floor of the building and three fire tenders rushed to the place.
It was controlled in one and a half hours.
The fire department said they took the time to reach the factory because it was located in a narrow lane.
Cartons are stored in large quantities in place have captured the fire.
The fire tender was in a hurry from the focal point, the Central Fire Extinguisher and Jalan Gill.
In another incident, the main trash can in Tajpur Road, caught fire.
