Mumbai: a fire broke out in the car’s showroom garage on the outskirts of Powai on Thursday, officials said.
There are no reports of victims, they said.
Blaze erupted in the Sai Auto Hyundai showroom garage, located on Jalan Saki Vihar in Powai, around 11am, officials said.
Five fire engines and water tankers along with firefighters rushed to the place and the effort was still alive to extinguish the fire, a firefighting official said.
“According to the main report, there is no injury to anyone,” the official said.
The cause of the fire is unknown, he said.
Earlier this week, a large fire erupted in the multinational electronic goods service center in the Kanjurmarg area in Mumbai.
No one was injured in the flames, which was watered after more than five hours of busy efforts, the previous official said.
