New Delhi: The fire broke out in the waiter quarter at the residence of Director of Doordarshan on Jalan Shahjahan in the National Capital on Friday, said fire officials.
Calls about fire received at 2am and a total of six people were saved from the house, they said.
In accordance with the fire, as many as four tenders fire rushed to the place to extinguish the fire.
According to fire department officials, domestic goods were stored in the waiter quarter on the ground floor of the director of Doordarshan Mahender Singh on fire.
Two people were saved by the locals before the fire department reached the place, four other people were saved by firefighters and a woman shifted to the RML hospital.
This case was handed over to the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (ASI) Dharmender from the Tilak Marg Police Station.
