Howrah: The fire broke out in a factory in the West Bengal District district on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The fire was first seen around 12:30 a.m.
at the factory in the new Karola in the Domjur police station area, they said.
Twenty fire extinguisher fighting with fire, which has not been controlled, they added.
There were no reports of victims but the incident triggered panic because it was a solid area, said fire officials.
The cause of the blaze has not been confirmed, they said.
