Noida: A big fire broke out in a shop on the ground floor of the Gardenia Golf City apartment complex at Sector 75 on Thursday morning.
Leaving at least 13 shops that are truly broken while damaging the main part of two housing towers.
While no one was injured in Blaze, residents had blamed commercial activities that were not arranged in the apartment complex for accidents that had affected more than two dozen families.
Residents also said that there were no fire fighting equipment available in the housing complex and had approached developers for compensation for their damage.
Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive of the Noida Authority, said that the investigation had been ordered in the incident.
“We will check how many shops and commercial structures are approved for the project.
Also, we will see whether the fire extinguisher steps have been carried out.
Further actions will be taken after the conclusion of the investigation,” Maheshwari Toi said.
Noida’s authority has allocated around 150 hectares to aim at Max Gardenia Developers PVT Ltd in January 2011 and the golf city apartment complex was built on land in four phases.

Blaze Thursday, Meanwhile, has triggered a larger debate with an appealing apartment owner for Noida’s authority to arrange haphazard construction activities.
President Federation of Noida from the Association of Apartment owners, Rajiva Singh said, “When the developer has not surrendered the public to the Association of Apartment Owners (Aoas), Onus of the Fire Mishap is in the developer.
