Mumbai: The fire erupted near the gate of the Churchgate Train Station number 3 in front of Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk on Thursday afternoon.
The locals say that the fire was in the trash lying without supervision on the east side of the train station.
About 1.56 PM of fire began and smoked began to enter the station building.
Four fire fighting machines, water tankers, ambulances and environmental level environmental staff rush to the site.
The train staff began to pour water from inside the building to control the situation until the fire department arrived on the site.
The fire brigade team, who arrived in a few minutes, was able to control the situation.
No one was injured in the incident.
