Patna: Minister of Chief (CM) Nith Kumar announced Wednesday EX Gratia’s payment of each Rs 4 lakh each with family members of five children who were scorched dead in unintentional fires in the Banka district on Tuesday.
Nitish requested the disaster management department and Banka DM to ensure immediate payment.
Five children from a family were expected to death after the fire broke out in their homes in Rajwaar Village under the Kingun Police Station area in the Banka district on Tuesday.
Children play in their homes when the fire erupted due to LPG Cylinder’s leak, police said on Wednesday.
Four children from One Ashok Paswan – Ankush Paswan (10), Shivani Kumari (8), Seema Kumari (5) and son of Kumari (2) – died in a fire.
The fifth victim, Anshu Kumari (10), is this child cousin.
CM expressed deep sadness over the death of five unlimited children.
Explaining the incident as “very sad”, Nitish said he was very hurt after hearing new deaths from five children.
Earlier on Sundays, CM has announced the payment of Ex-Gratia respectively by RS 4 Lakh until the next KIN of the seven people killed in a kettle explosion at the Mie Factory in the Muzaffarpur industrial area in Bela.
Overall seven people were killed and seven others were injured after the boiler exploded at the noodle factory on Sunday.
