AHMEDABAD: The secretary of this fire-hit Welfare Hospital at Bharuch has advised that the Gujarat high court the fire had advised him that the fire review team wouldn’t go to the Covid centre.
The centre was at the new construction of this hospital.
A fire had killed 18 people in the hospital Covid ward over the night of April 30.
The hospital manager, Ajaz Patel, has said on an affidavit that the government and the fire group understood about the Covid centre being conducted at the new construction.
He explained the mom of the major fire officer had been declared in the exact same Covid ward at the new construction, which had been visible in the entry of the campus.
He said that a enormous signboard,”’New Covid Centre’, was put on the new construction to assure different patients who the Covid facility was changed from the main clinic building.
The affidavit was filed on Fridayin June.
Before this month, the country authorities along with also the Bharuch municipality had claimed that the police weren’t advised with the hospital trust, Bombay Patel Welfare Society, which its Covid-19 centre was operational in the new construction.
They said in affidavits that a firing group had gone for review of the hospital construction in April 30hours before the fire broke out, however, the group was revealed only the older building rather than the new construction.

The mum of major fire was also declared and treated to Covid from the new construction.
