Nagpur: Electronic items including television sets, refrigerators, laptops and grocery goods worth Lakh reduced as ash after a large fire broke out in the warehouse in Nimji, outside Amravati the road in Kalmeshwar Tehsil, on Thursday morning.
“There were no victims reported in the incident,” API official said.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed, they said.
According to officials, the fire began in the warehouse of a TV supply chain solution limited at around 8 in the morning.
Five fire tenders, including two of the Fire Department and Nagpur Corporation Emergency Services, were deployed.
The fire is controlled at around 2:30 p.m.
“Even though the fire was controlled, the entire warehouse collapsed and covered the items burned.
