Vancouver / Portland: The worst heat wave on records that have burned many Western Canadian and US Northwest subsided on Wednesday but officials are still preparing for more recording temperatures and threats forest fires.
Death surged in the Province of the Canadian Pacific Coast in British Columbia in recent days.
