Kanpur: a large fire broke out in an electronic showroom on Saturday morning at Fazalganj crossing here.
The fire also swallowed a restaurant on the first floor of the building.
Goods and property worth several lakh along with severe restaurants.

Locals told reporters that around 8:30 a.m.
on Saturday, the fire broke out due to a short circuit in an electric meter installed in a commercial building.

People in the area immediately inform the control room, after the fire tender arrived at the place and launched a massive operation to extinguish the fire.
After about half an hour of time, the fire brigade personnel led fire under control with the help of five fire tenders.
Locals say that restaurant furniture, several acs, computer sets etc., goods worth several lakh burned.
At the same time, furniture near the electronic shutter showroom, four ACs and furniture are burned.
Vinod Kumar, an API official Fire Station Fazalganj said, “When receiving the information, the team reached immediately and prevented fire from spreading further.
The damage has not been assessed.”
