Gurugram: The fire broke on the TPA Bandhwari site about 20 km from the city on Sunday afternoon.
There were no casualties reported in the incident, said an API official.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
The fire tender rushes to the site.
According to fire officers, the incident occurred around 12.05 nights at TPA Bandhwari.
The suspected fire has begun because of methane buildup, flammable gas, in TPA because of the decomposition of solid city waste.
The fire also spreads because of polythene and other plastic waste.
“The fire broke the top of the landfill because it took time to extinguish the fire.
Ten tenders of fire, five of the Gurugram and five of Faridabad, were pressed into the action.
Also, around 40 extinguishing personnel were in that place for fireworks.
Of the eight hours to control the flame, “said Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Fire Officer.
The main fire in 2013 has caused the bandhwari waste management plant to die.
Since then, the city agency in Gurugram and Faridabad continued to throw more than 1,000 tons of garbage that was not treated at the location every day.
