Firm Fires Man, Lover tries to burn the factory

Rajkot: Women’s employees who dijulat in a company based in Gandhidham tried to burn the factory unit after his girlfriend was fired from his work.
According to the Gandhidham police, the incident occurred at Canam International (P) Ltd, in Gandhidham on July 5 at around 5:30 a.m.
Parmar (24), a resident of Ganesh Nagar in Gandhidham and originated to regulate the Biblue factory by using lighter and burning Ladden trolley, police said.
“The workers in the unit saw the fire and put it out immediately and avoided a big disaster because there was a large stock of cloth in the unit where the fire had occurred.
After the incident, management checked CCTV recordings to check how the fire occurred and saw Parmar lit a pile of clothes,” said the source police.
Sources say that Canam International (P) Ltd specializes in sorting and recycling used clothing and is part of the Canam group that has the presence in North America, India and Africa.
The complete work process of used clothing factories consists of sorting, assessment, packing and shipping.
“When management questioned Parmar why he wanted to burn the factory, the woman revealed that he was angry after the company fired his girlfriend (Vinod) from his work.
‘Sad lovers’ decided to burn the unit of revenge,” said an official.
After this revelation, GM GM Harish Madapalutti Gopalan filed a criminal complaint against Parmar with the Gandhidham police under various parts of the IPC including 436, 427, among others.
