Firoz Nadiadwala recently made some surprising revelations in the recent interview where he claimed that director Priyadarshan seemed to ‘leave’ ‘Pheri’ in the middle.
Nadiadwala also added that filmmakers also tried to convince actors to say no to the sequel.
Spilling nuts on the same thing, Firoz reportedly said Priyadarshan had given him a film with a three-hour runtime and 40 minutes.
According to him, the director version is full of sad scenes that many funny dialogues are deleted.
He also claimed that the filmmaker was absent during background music recordings, and dubbing.
Deciphering further, Nadiadwala added that the real work on the film began after the loss of Priyadarshan with the help of the players, direct director – the author of Neeraj Vora, and the Ahmed Khan choreographer.
Firoz also said that the original version was handed over to him was not comedy but a story about the family challenged economically.
