Kolhapur: A woman from Kolhapur City has been identified as the first covid patient with a Delta-Plus variant in the district.
Kolhapur Municipal Corporation has just received a statement of genome sequencing from a swab sample collected from the 62-year-old woman.
This is the case of the first delta-plus variant confirmed in the Kolhapur district.
The woman has tested Covid Positive on May 28.
After that, a random swab sample was sent to check the Covid virus variant.
