Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh on Saturday became the first country in this country to provide four doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine.
According to data from the Cowin Portal, the landmark was reached at 7pm on Saturday.
This is about 10% of a total of 39.94 doses of crore given in this country.
Among other countries, Maharashtra is the closest competitor with 3.89 Jabs Crore.
Gujarat follows next with 2.93 doses of crore.
Rajasthan (2.83 Crore), West Bengal (2.59 Crore) and Madhya Pradesh (2.51 Crore) Follow the next.
Overall, the 3.39 crore of the above people has taken at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine, while almost 65 lakh is fully immunized.
Official data shows that 1.37 crore people in the 18-44 age category have taken Jab, while 1.72 crores have taken at least one dose on the 45-60 age bracket.
In the elderly, 93 people have Jab.
Officials connect the success of hard work included by the health staff and tools developed by the state government – cluster model – to increase vaccination in rural areas.
Data shows that more than 67% of the total vaccination carried out between July 1 and July 14 is given in villages.
In Lucknow, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi, Prasagraj and Agra, more than 10 lakh Jabs have been given, while Mahaga, Sant Kabir Nagar, Auraiya, Kaushambi, Lalitpur, and Chitrakoot are ridden by less than 2 , 5 lakh shots each.
