First Greater Noida EV charging station will be opened soon

Noida: The first Noida Charging Station for Electric Vehicles (EVS) is likely to begin in two weeks, and as many as 100 stations are planned for the city, officials said on Tuesday.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Gnida) said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CESL to prepare a charging station for EV.
“The first charging station is targeted to be assigned in the next two weeks in the Alpha commercial belt,” Gnida said.
It was said that the effort was carried out to promote electric vehicles throughout the country with the national electricity mobility scheme, and Greater Noida had also joined this campaign.
“In the CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhoooshan, the charging station for electric vehicles will be built in 100 places in Greater Noida.
For this, Gnida has signed an agreement with Convergence Energy Services Limited (EESL subsidiary) on Tuesday,” according to an official statement.
The MoU was signed before the additional CEO of Gnida, Chandra in depth, responsible for Commerce cells and OSD Naveen Kumar Singh and CESL officers, he added.
After the first charging station in the Alpha commercial belt, the Gnida and CESL team will conduct a joint survey to identify the location of the remaining installation and will send a report in 10 days, Gnida said.
“This charging station that will be built in collaboration with CESL will bring great comfort to the driver of an electric vehicle,” said CEO Gnida Narendra Bhoohan.
CESL MD and CEO of Mahua Acharya said Greater Noida was one of the main Asian industrial cities with sufficient opportunities to promote electric vehicles.
