MUMBAI: Added Civil commissioner Suresh Kakani on Wednesday ordered a probe to the Questionable vaccine Driveway held in Hiranandani Heritage Cooperative Housing Society, Kandivli, on May 30.

He’s led the neighborhood deputy municipal commissioner to publish a report within two days.
Earlier in the afternoon, BMC’s R South defender office issued a note to the chairman/secretary of this society, requesting it to publish an memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed using the Personal Covid Vaccination Centre (PCVC) to its Treaty camp.
The society was requested to submit an outline over three days or face legal actions.
Additionally, on Wednesday, a vaccination drive has been conducted at the society with all 346 inhabitants becoming vaccinated.
BMC officials said that an MoU is compulsory, and home societies ought to conduct a comprehensive confirmation of the identification cards of their workers that come for immunization.
The BMC also has said taxpayers need to keep in mind that every PCVC is provided a registration number on CoWin.
“Citizens and home organizations must speak to the medical health club into their own ward about the enrollment of their personal immunization center before the driveway,” stated the BMC announcement.
Deputy civil commissioner Vishwas Shankarwar, in control of the zone that has been asked to investigate into the event, said that the MoU clause was in existence since protocols such as vaccination in housing societies/workplaces has been drawn up.

However, the Treaty drive held at the society Wednesday, local MLA Yogesh Sagar reported that on May 27, the society had written to commence the driveway, along with Wednesday’s camp had been pre-planned.
“We tied with Oscar Hospital, and all of us had been provided a vaccination certificate in the place itself.
The beneficiaries were people who weren’t part of the previous camp,” Sagar said.
