Hyderabad: Police arrested five recent murder cases from History-Sheeter at Old Malakpet on July 17.
The victim, Syed Mushtaquddin aka Syed Mushtaq (35), from Wahed Nagar in Malakpet Lama, was involved in 27 cases registered with Chaderghat, Humayun Nagar, Jubilee Hill and Dabeerpura Police Station.
Mushtaq was booked based on the PD Act Three in 2013, 2014 and 2019.
At 5:05 am on July 17 was attacked by a blade by a group of people near the Abu Bakar mosque in the old Malakpet and he was declared dead in the General Osmania Hospital.
After a thorough probe, the police arrested Mahmood bin Alvi, 42, History-Sheeter from old Malakpet, Ayub bin Alvi, 33, History-Sheeter from Malakpet Old, MD Hyder Ali Quadri, 36, a businessman from Phool Bagh in Chandrayangutta, MD Zubair, 25, laborers from old Malakpet and Vali Ahmed, 33, plumber from Amberpet to kill Mushtaq.
The police confiscated two bicycles and two cellphones from the defendant’s ownership.
According to police commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar, Mahmood and Job is a brother and a historical sheet from the Chaderghat police station.
Other charges are their friends.
The victim, Mushtaq was also a history-sheeter and in a drunken condition he had recently threatened to eliminate Mahmood and the last with his colleagues, hatched plans to kill Mushtaq.
According to the plan, the defendant invited victims near Mahmood’s house during early July 17 and offered alcohol.
When Mushtaq was under the influence of alcohol, Mahmood, Job and Hyder stabbed him with a knife and escaped from the place.

The victim was declared dead at Osmania General Hospital, police said.
