Kolhapur: Five people were killed and nine others were injured after a private passenger vehicle was upside down after a tire exploded in Kumharli village in Solapur on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, 17 passengers traveled from Akkalkot to Solapur.
They went around 9:30 a.m.
After arriving in Kumharli Village an hour later, the tire from the front right side and the vehicle was upside down twice.
First, the locals reached to help the victims and then the ambulance and the police arrived.
Local places claim that the incident occurred in a few minutes.
Atul Bhosale, Assistant Police Inspector with the Valsang Police Station said, “We have identified all those who are injured and can identify four of the five dies.
We cannot trace the identity of a woman who loses her life.
According to medical examination, all five died in place due to severe injury And blood loss.

Those who were injured were undergoing treatment at Soldi Civil Hospital.
“Police claim that confirming passenger identity is a difficult task because all traveling from different areas.
Locals claimed that they boarded private passenger vehicles because the state transportation bus was outside the road due to strikes by public transport business staff.
“We are not sure if they hope to travel to a trip to Solapur and after not taking the bus they ride a private passenger vehicle.

Katyaya Yelappa Bansode (55), Basavraj Yellappa Bansode (27), Anand Irappa Gaikwad, Lakshman Murlidhar Shinde (42) and an unknown woman (40) lost their lives in an accident.
