Washington: The death toll from a photo shoot in various locations in Colorado, which ended when the gunman was shot dead, has increased to five, the police said Tuesday.
The shooting trail began at around 17:00 on Monday and did not take place at least four different locations in the cities of Denver and Lakewood, police said, who initially put the death toll in four.
Two women were killed and a man was injured in the first location in Denver, police said, with another man was shot dead outside his residence.
The Gunman then traveled to the adjacent Lakewood, where he was a fatal shooting another man in a lucky tattoo living room and injuring other individuals.
Work off information collected from previous attacks, Lakewood officers can identify shooters when he moved locations.
The shooter entered a shopping center where he was fatal to shoot a female employee, police said.
He then met a police officer in the shopping center that ordered him to drop his weapon.
In the next fire exchange, the officer was injured but shot the suspect.
The Gunman “said to die on the scene” said Lakewood police spokesman John Romero.
He added that police officers were “okay” but he would need further operation.
The motivation of the shooter is unknown, but the police say that “based on what we know, it seems that the perpetrators are targeting certain people.” Two weapons were restored by the police.
Violence gun is a big problem in the United States and advocate control of weapons said this problem was driven by the prevalence of firearms and by relatively loose weapons law.
