Pune: Five districts – Pune, Mumbai, Ahmednagar, Thane, and Satara – accounted for almost 75% of the burden of Covid patients active countries, revealing the latest reports from the State Health Department.

At present, there are a total of 33,637 active covid patients in Maharashtra.
From them, 24,682 patients (74.44%) underwent treatment at home or in hospitals in Pune, Mumbai, Ahmednagar, Thane, and Satara.
And 4,954 other patients (14.94%) were treated in Raigad, Solapur, Sangli, Nashik, and Sindhudurg.
In 16 other districts, the number of active Covid cases has taken place below 100.
