Five families were swept away on the Ambika River

Letter: Five families drowned at the Ambika River near Mahuva from the letter district on Tuesday when they went swimming.
The body of one family member, Ruksana Fakir (55) was found during searching for others.
Javidsha Fakir went to Joravarpiring Dargah in Kumkotar Village near Mahuva with his family on his autorickshaw.
After offering a prayer in Dargah, the family went swimming on the Ambika River.
With fresh water flow after rain, five family members are swept away because of the heavy lower current on the river.
The locals warned firefighters from Bardoli who arrived and restored the body of Mrs.
Javidsha, Ruksana.
The body of other family members has not been found.
Those who are still missing include Parvin (30), wife of Javidsha Rukhsarbi (29), Relative Arifsha (22), Javidsha’s younger brother and his wife Samimbi (18).
The firefight team continued to look for bodies on Tuesday night.
