HYDERABAD: For the second day in a row, the Telangana authorities on Saturday went after several private hospitals in town for allegedly discovered flouting standards and fleecing Covid-19 patients.
The authorities barred five such centers from damaging Covid-19 patients.
All these associations, the official order issued Saturday said, weren’t only incorporating”insignificant and excess fees” to patients’ invoices but resorting to”mismanagement and lack of focus”.
The Most Recent list contains Picture Hospital (Ameerpet), Ankura Hospital (LB Nagar), Sia Life Hospital (Kondapur), Panchavati Hospital (Bhoothpur at Mahabubnagar) along with Sai Siddartha Hospital (Shapurnagar, Sangareddy).
Earlier on Fridaythe authorities cancelled the consent of five associations, such as Virinchi Hospital (Banjara Hills), to provide Covid-19 therapy.
While Virinchi was discovered supposedly violating treatment program, the others — Vinn Hospital, TX Hospital, Max Health Hospital and Neelima Hospital — were reprimanded for hepatitis sufferers.
Dr G Srinivasa Rao, director of public health, Telangana once warned physicians against flouting standards and said further actions could be taken when they don’t fall according to “People found guilty of breaking based protocols, standards or instructions will be exposed to appropriate disciplinary actions,” the officer stated.
Citizens can pay their complaints about the WhatsApp amount 9154170960 against overcharging hospitals,” Rao explained.
