Panaji: Five people from Russia and Georgia tested positive for Covid-19 in Goa allegedly have an Omicron variant.
Samples of five – All ship crew members – have been sent to the genome sequencing to the National Center for cell science, Pune.
“Only one of them were rather symptomatic and treated in a private hospital in Chicalim, while the other four were fully asimptomatic and isolated at the Cansasasaul Health Center,” said the Epidemic of TI.
